Paul Wiereyn is the programmer of APWin, a free PGN-reader that is very useful for e.g. quickly finding duplicate studies (or problems) in PGN-collections. He kindly provided the program for downloading. APWin is now optimized for use with HHdbIV.pgn. Click here to download it. Then replace the executable (this also goes for older installations) with this file (version V2010-07).
Another useful program is the Chess GUI Arena. It can be downloaded from this webpage.
On October 2nd, the database HHdbIV has been launched during a ceremony at the Max Euwe Centre in Amsterdam. GM Jan Timman and IM Yochanan Afek accepted the first two copies.
A report (in Dutch) can be found here.

For the occasion some copies of HHdbIV were available on CD-ROM. However, the database is from now on only available as a download from this website.
